Can I ride
my bike?

City, state, or zip. Ride, maybe, or don't.

Or pick a city

What this does

Can I ride my bike? turns a US city, state or ZIP code into a plain answer — ride, maybe, or don't — for the hours ahead and the next few days. It is a weather question, so it is really a question about wind, rain, temperature and daylight at the time you would actually be out.

Quick answer or deep analysis

Quick mode blends one forecast into a single verdict in about a second. Deep analysis scores many independent forecast models the same way and reports the result as odds, so you can see when the models agree and when they do not. Deep mode takes a few seconds longer on a ZIP it has not seen recently.

How to use it

What it does not know

This is guidance about weather, not a safety guarantee. It does not know your bike, your route, the condition of the pavement, black ice, or traffic. Forecasts further than a few days out are less certain than tomorrow morning, and the deep mode's odds reflect disagreement between models, not a probability that you will enjoy the ride.

Where the numbers come from

Forecasts come from public weather models; the site stores no rider coordinates in its request log. See the privacy note for what is kept and for how long, and how far off for how the verdict bands were set.
